Which week in May will you be at WDW?

Hi guys!! We have our trip all planned and are staying at CBR May 17th-24th!!

Who else will be at the world and which week?

We will be going May 10th - May 18th, staying at the Contemporary. Hope you have a wonderful trip!! :mickey:

Strong rumor has it that our son is planning to spring "the question" to his GF during the trip. Nothing other than hints at the moment, but far less than subtle ones at that. He keeps asking for suggestions about any romantic spots or unique opportunities particularly in MK. It will be an interesting trip to say the least.

When I saw this I had to comment. A friend of mine went to WDW with her BF and he got down on one knee and proposed to her in the middle of Main Street. Not really romantic, but they had amazing pictures with the castle in the background and people stopped and looked to see what was going one. How exciting! Oh and we will be there the same time.

Thanks for all the contributions of ideas and examples for my son's consideration of the right spot for his question. I tried to probe him a little, and so far he seems to be leaning toward the Rose Garden or beachside at The Poly during Wishes.

I have a sense he is looking for a quiet spot rather than a Main Street or attraction location.

If anyone knows of, or has any secret spots anywhere on property that seem to fit the quieter side I'll pass them along to him.

The last time we were there, we saw someone propose at the wishing well just to the right of the castle on the walkway...not too many people around, it was late...and she started crying and we stopped to ask if they would like us to take a 'memory' picture...

Thank you for the contribution of the Wishing Well idea Pirate Granny. It looks as if the Wishes theme in some form or another is leading the pack of tie-in possibilities.

We just returned from visiting them in Memphis, and I guess you can say the dye is cast. He had the ring made up about 2 weeks ago, and asked us to take it for "safekeeping". He was afraid his girlfriend would somehow stumble upon it hidden at his apartment, or he would break down for some reason and give it to her before the trip.

The logic was -- "this way it is 750 miles out of reach from the temptation of him giving in, and sets it up to be something she is not anticipating or suspecting will happen on vacation". I hope he can pull it off as he is trying to plan it, but sure it will be memorable to say the least no matter what he decides will be the best location. He just has no idea where that place is at the moment.

Me and the girls (DW, DD12, DD7, DD4) will be there May 21-29 at the Dolphin and CSR. We were there the same week as Hayden's Dad and DolphinMickey last year and kept missing them. Everyone have a great and safe trip!:thumbsup:
