The first battle in round two was a huge blowout. Can the Sword In The Stone fair better against stiff competition?

The Sword In The Stone (1963) The fifth highest grossing film of 1963 and an Acadamy Award nominee. Defeated The Black Cauldron in round number one.

Peter Pan (1953) Huge hit for Disney, still one of the highest profile Disney films. Re-released in theatres 5 times up until 1989. Recieved a bye in round one

I love Peter Pan. This is also one of my favorite rides - I love the shade of green they used in it.

The Sword in the Stone was a good movie. Peter Pan is fantastic! What memorable characters! Pan,Tinkerbell, Wendy, Hook, Smee and the Crocodile! And the animation? Who can forget flying out the window and over the roof tops of London? Great stuff! :mickey:

This one was really tough, but without Peter Pan there would not be a Neverland or Pixie Dust.

Pan could be a tough out. I really considered a number 1 seed for the movie. The movie is in a tough bracket though..

Looks like of the 18 contests in the books only 1very mild upset so far: #9 Chicken Little downing #8 Meet The Robinsons, but those movies were so close its hard to call that an upset. I could have easily seeded them with the opposite numbers.

Maybe we will see an upset along the way but so far the higher seeds are winning, although sometimes barely.
