Feb. 26, 1995 – Disneyland’s newest attraction, “Indiana Jones Adventure” had its Grand Opening.
Feb. 26, 1998 – The All Star Café opened at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.
Feb. 26, 1998 – James Algar, known for his work on “Disney True Life Adventure” series, including the episodes “Beaver Valley”, “Bear Country”, and “The Living Desert”. He also wrote and produced the “Hall of Presidents” attraction at WDW.
Feb. 26, 1999 – The Disney/Touchstone Picture film “The Other Sister” was released.
Feb. 26, 2000 – The Disney animated series “The Weekenders” began airing as part of Disney’s “One Saturday Morning.”
Feb. 26, 2000 – ABC-TV aired episode 11 of “Mickey Mouse Works.” The program featured the shorts “Mickey’s Mixed Nuts,” “Goofy’s Extreme Sports: Shark Feeding,” “Mickey’s Mountain,” and “Computer.Don” (featuring Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy.)
Feb. 26, 2002 – Kmart and Disney debut a colorful and fun new line of Disney-branded apparel at Kmart’s Astor Place Store in N.Y.C.
Feb. 26, 2002 – Disney’s “Cinderella II: Dreams Come True” was released on DVD. Jennifer Hale supplied the voice for Cinderella.
Feb. 26, 2002 – An unclaimed Mickey Mouse snow globe cleared out a section of the Sacramento International Airport after being mistaken for a bomb. It caused 150 people to be evacuated from the B-1 terminal and 5 outbound flights delayed.
Feb. 26, 2006 – The “Timekeeper” attraction in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom at WDW officially closed. It would be now used as a Character Meet and Greet area.
