I'm wondering if anyone here was ever lucky enough to ride these. I rode them only once during my very first visit. I think it would be nice to have them back again.

Yep, I rode them once (in the summer of 1974)...not really sure what the purpose was other than to ride in a boat in WDW...but I was fairly young then and had my mind on more exciting attractions (such as Mr. Toad)...maybe there was a tour of sorts, but I don't recall one.

:minnie2: O my yes, it was Spring of 1974 when I was 8 I wanted to ride everything. A ride very simple but yet it was DISNEY . Now all these year's later and over 60 trips under my belt it's still a very magical place that my family looks forward to twice a year.

Ahhh memories! I rode them too, as a young girl. I remember riding them with my grandmother who told me all about the swan boats in Boston (I guess they reminded her of them). Thanks for the smile today.

the Disney Swan Boats were actually modeled after the Boston Swan boats. The ride was just a gentle cruise, perfect for a bit of relaxation.

My parents said it used to be the place to go for a romantic kiss and to throw your feet up

The loading area is still there in the flower garden area between Mainstreet USA and Tomorrowland.
