Tickets for Nemo

We've booked the Tusker House lunch with the Nemo show tickets included. I love to keep stuff like this for souvenirs! Does anyone know if they'll let you hold on to your tickets? I've had mixed success, mostly good, asking to keep the fastpasses.

How do you keep the fastpasses?
What keeps you from using them again?
If I want a souvenir fastpass, I put a card in twice and get a non-valid fastpass.

When I went on rides I showed the fastpasses and asked if I could keep them for a souvenir. I only asked a few times and I think only one CM said she had to take them, another let me keep just one, which I totally understood. For the record, we never, ever reused any of these fastpasses!

I had no idea you could get non-valid fastpasses. I would actually prefer doing something like that, as opposed to asking a CM about keeping ours. I thought the only other option to keep one would be to get one you didn't plan on using. I never did that because I realized that would be taking away the opportunity for someone else to use it.
