Feb. 13, 1993 – The “Lumiere’s Kitchen” fast-food facility opened in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom at WDW.
Feb. 13, 1996 - Test Track Preview Center opened at the World of Motion Pavilion.
Feb. 13, 1998 – The Atlanta Braves reported for their 1st Spring Training Season at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex.
Feb. 13, 1998 - Animator Jules Engels, who worked on Disney’s Fantasia, was awarded the “Friz” lifetime achievement award for animation at the 1998 Santa Clarita International Film Festival.

Feb. 13, 2002 – It was announced at the Chandler Mansion set from “All My Children: in ABC Soap Opera Bistro” at Disney’s California Adventure, that ABC Super Soap Weekends would take place in Apr. 2002. There will be 3 weekends (much like the ones that have taken place at Disney-MGM Studios at WDW) devoted to popular daytime dramas aired on ABC-TV. Actor Walt Willey (who plays Jackson McGomery on All my Children), actress Linda Dano (who portrays Ray Cummings on One Life to Live), and Nancy Lee Grahn (who plays Alexis Davis on General Hospital all took part in the morning announcement.
Feb. 13, 2004 – Disneyland hosted a Friday the 13th ceremony to light up the Tower of Terror’s marque. The event, which included a screaming contest, was hosted by comedian Gallagher. (The new attraction would open in May).
Feb. 13, 2007 – Danielle Day and her family from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan spent the night inside Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom. The first time a Canadian family is Disney’s World’s first, to ever win a nights stay as part of the Disney Dreams Giveaway.
