The last major renovation was in 2007 during which the narrator became Dame Judi Dench. Wikipedia has a good entry if you want to know more details.

As an aside, I love the renovations and Dame Judi's narration, though others may cast aspersions on them.

Jeremy Irons was the best if you ask me, he commanded that attraction

Good poll question! Can't say I have any complaints from Mr. Irons, he did an excellent job.

Totally agree; he was my favorite but Cronkite would be a close second.

Irons was trhe best. I still have a mp3 file of his version. I especially loved the renaissance music.

I was down a couple of times in 1983. And you know I can not remember the Vic Perrin version if my life depended on it. But Jeremy Irons was the best. And I know I will get heck for this but the Judi Dench version is the worst. Not enough ummph if you ask me.

I really like the Irons version. But, the best line is still Cronkite's: "Behold, the Sistine ceiling!"

I liked Irons just because it is classic. That's the voice we heard the first ten times we rode it. That's what SE is.

But acutally, I like Dench better. Maybe because it is just newer.

Not sure I like the new interactive thing IN PLACE of the old animatronics on the way back to earth, but I do like the interactive thing in itself.
