Which one do you suggest for a quick lunch? Thanks!

Defintely Kona. Much more "personality", and more comfortable environment.

One word: The Grand Sandwich

I like both restaurants, Kona has great appetizers but for lunch, Grand Floridian Cafe has some really special entrees, the best sandwich on the market, fresh fish, and a burger topped with lobster and asparagus (Oscar style).

I would say Kona. Great Food....we have always had great service. One of our must do every trip.

Since you mentioned "a quick lunch", as much as we enjoyed our lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe it was very slow paced. Maybe if you told them up front that you wanted to get out quickly they could speed things up. Please, don't get me wrong we had a very lovely, good, relaxing lunch and would go back again.

I don't think you will miss with either!

Both are on our list for dinner next time we go!

Good luck deciding!

I love Grand Floridian Cafe. I'm not a fan of Kona.

We were at both in October 2007. Lunch was so nice and quiet perfect for just getting off the plane. We had no trouble getting a seat. We had dinner at Kona and the food was excellent, but it was noisy and busy.

Just an FYI, the mind behind that burger is now heading up the team at Jiko so expect some new and interesting things from there... like Jiko isn't interesting enough already.

I vote for GF Cafe. The food is really good and I love the GF--how could you not?
