If I get a baby swap and my DW goes on the ride can I use the baby swap the next day or is it good only for the dame day? Thanks.

it is only good for that day at the time you get it.

It's only good for the same day; from my limited experience using Baby Swap, it is essentially a FastPass for the ride.

Some of the above info is incorrect.

The "Rider Switch" pass has an expiration date a week to 10 days out. You do not have to use this pass the same day that it was issued. You do have to use it before the expiration date.

Is it true that if you've got an older child, he/she can ride twice (i.e., once with the first parent and then again with the second -- while the parents switch who is watching the baby)?

The Rider Switch Pass is good for up to three guests.

Ok I'm going to ask a stupid question. We have never used this before how do you get one? Do you wait in line and tell them when you are boarding? Or do you get it outside the line?

Thanks!

when you are getting on line you let them know and they will give you the pass right there

Is this in small print or just general knowledge of CM? The rider switch passes we used this weekend stated in large, bold letters "for use on (date ) only"

Sorry for the bad info. It seems that the Rider Switch policy was changed to "same day use only" in mid-2008.

It appears that some were collecting these and then re-selling on e-bay when they had future expiration dates.

that's a shame that someone would sell them. i would think a brief window of maybe a week or 10 days would make the most sense. this way you would prevent selling of these, but allow someone with small kids to be able to go back to a ride later in the trip if they could not get back the same day.

We got our rider swap cards from the CM's at the FP Return gate for those attractions with FP. We did end up having to use one of them later (the same day) versus going right back on (sorry, but a 6 month old has other plans sometimes!) and it wasn't a problem. I think I do remember it having an expiration for the same day.

wow, they added expirations, that stinks

Yes and also the rider/baby switch is printed on the same paper as a regular FP is.

What are these baby swaps that everyone speaks of? I'm confused.

A baby swap is what you can do if you have a child who does not meet height requirments.
You ask the cm for a baby swap and the give you what looks like a fast pass and then one adult rides while the other stays with the child. Then once the ride is over the adults switch and the other adult rides.
