What happens to the Gingerbread House?

I did do a quick search to see if this had been asked, but I was wondering what happened to the carousel and the gingerbread house when it's dismantled.

Is it sold? Eaten? Does it become food for the animals?

And what about all that chocolate??? :eat:

Most likely, fertilizers. It's coated with a sealant and probably completely stale by the end of the season. I can see it being used as a fertilizer. It really couldn't be given to animals since most of the stuff used is bad for them.
