Costco ???

They take America Express and Check/Debit cards with PIN. That's it.
Kinda like Sam's only takes Discover and Check/Debit.

FYI...Sam's has it's OWN credit card and they take Mastercard now too.

My Sam's credit is just my Sam's card with my picture on back. It may be part of Discover (since originally that was the first credit card they took) but it's the same card I use to get into the club. Costco's credit card is an actual American Express card seperate from the entry card (I live right between both of them so I got memberships to both...you get a "spouse" membership so I share with my parents...my DH and I usually end up going together).

You are correct for In-store purchases. For Costco on-line purchases, you can use other credit cards. We purchased several things on-line using a Mastercard.
