We will be at BC Feb. 6-10

Flying Jib area is said to be under refurbishment.

Does that mean where the slide empties into and that area of the pool is empty of water or are they working on the boat part only.

I'm pretty sure that the refurbishment includes the pool area by the slide (where it empties). Work supposedly started January 5th. Anyone with a first-hand report?

Yes - we were there Jan 7 - 11. The pool slide was closed - and subsequently, much of SAB was too.

The kiddie pool on the pirate ship was closed.
The area where the slide empties into was closed.
The area with the large whirlpool area was closed.
The large section of "regular pool" near B&C was closed.

The only areas open were the shallow sandbar pool (YC side), the lazy river, and the small area attached to the lazy river (with waterfall).
There was one hot-tub open, and it was packed every day - which really was a bummer after running 13.1 miles.

In other words, the rehab of that section was extensive. :(
