( I swear that's what they just told me!!! I do know, however, they love Cape May for b'fast and Crystal Palace for anything!)

Another vote for Whispering Canyon Cafe - the kids (4 & 11) loved it, and so did DH and I.

Going from the preferences of my own kids at those ages (10 and 8):

1) 'Ohana dinner
2) San Angel Inn
3) Chefs de France

They liked character meals, but they were by no means their favorite dining experiences.

Ty (just turned 10) and Skye (almost 5) love...

Tutto Italio
California Grill
Flying Fish

And they are not great eaters but found things to eat everywhere and loved the whole experience of being able to go to these places. Our last two trips have been with the Deluxe DDP and have made for a lot of eating and they have loved it all. As long as the places have food your kids will eat, I think any place will work!

Here is another vote for Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge.
In the Disney leadership book by Lee Cockerell he mentioned that the ideas for the show elements at WCC came from cast members themselves.

Ohana
Whispering Canyon
Teppan Edo (I think they'd like watching the food get cooked in front of them and the show that the chef puts on)

My 8 year old (a relatively picky eater, but generally pretty well behaved ) loved the following on our last trip:

Germany (Biergarten) - loved the music and dancing

Coral Reef - loved the aquarium

Prime Time Cafe - loved the atmosphere and the tvs and the sassy waitresses

Mama Melrose's - loved the food

Jiko - loved the make your own smores dessert and the African theme

Surprisingly, though, his absolutely favorite was Teppan Edo. He thinks the cooking in front of everyone is incredibly cool, and especially loves the onion "volcanos" they make.

From a 10, soon to be 11 year old:

Ohana (dinner)
Chef Mickey's (dinner)
Mama Melrose (lunch or dinner)

As an afterthought, if I don't put LeCellier on here for the Pretzel Bread and Filet, he'll never forgive me!
