Fort Wilderness questions

We will not be visiting any parks our day of arrival and are considering taking the kids to the sing-a-long at Fort Wilderness after dinner at Ohana. What would be the most logical way to get from Poly to FW using Disney transportation?? Also, is it feasible to walk from the marina to the campfire area or will we need to take the bus?? Finally, can you see Wishes from the beach at FW??

One of the most fun ways to get to FW from Poly would be to take the monorail to the Contemporary and then the boat launch to the FW marina.

You CAN walk from the Marina to the campfire area, but it roughly a half mile walk. I'd take the bus.

You can see Wishes from the beach, but you lose a lot. You are roughly a mile and a quarter away from the center of MK. It's fun if you want to see a fireworks display, but not the same as experiencing the Wishes show.

If you are on the beach or the lagoon at night, don't forget the Electrical Water Pageant. You get a really good view of that from the FW beach.

That's what I was thinking...monorail to Contemporary and then boat to FW. And we will definitely catch Wishes one night at MK. Thanks for the EWP suggestion...we'll have to see how the 2 and 4 year olds hold up!!
