I don't know if I have missed something, so let me know if I am wrong.

Today while taking with a co-worker I was explaining to him that in 23 days I will be in DW for another visit.

He looked at me suprised saying " Do you realize that you are going to miss the super bowl. And I responded I guess.

Now the question.

Which would you rather do?

1. Go to Disney World and visit the mouse.

2. Stay at home and watch the Super Bowl.

That's an easy one.....IF you wanted to watch the SuperBowl WHILE you were at WDW you could easily do so I'm sure.....so I'd go to WDW for sure!!!! (depends on if Pittsburgh makes it there if I'd watch while I was there or not!)

GO STEELERS!

My team's not in it this year, so I could easily skip. But even if they were, I would still go to WDW and watch it there... or not. WDW definitely beats one day of football and ads, even if it is incredible football.

Why not do both? I would! I'd spend much of the day at the parks but find a lounge for the game - or return to my room if the lounges are crowded.

I would definitely go to WDW. And if my team were in the Superbowl I would watch it there. Otherwise, I wouldn't care.

Speaking of which: Go Steelers!

Well, if the choice was something like 'Donate a kidney to a very close loved one in need or go to Walt Disney World', then it might be a tough decision. If the choice is go to WDW or watch some football game that could easily be TiVo'd (or even watched in virtually any bar in the country), then there's really no choice...

(Who wonders where some people put their priorities... watch the Superbowl at home or go to WDW? Jeez... ;) )

We'll be ending our trip on Superbowl Sunday. My team didn't make it in. We'll find it on the radio for the 10 hr trip back home and just not worry about it. It will be rehashed over and over again for a while.

My son was born around Super Bowl time. During my Lamaze (sp) class they asked all the fathers what there fears were. I was in shock when several of the fathers said my wife going into labor during the Super Bowl. Thank goodness my husband was not one of those fathers!

No contest....Disney World!

That's what DVR's and TiVo are for. I could check my iPhone periodically for the score throughout the game while enjoying a park. Then, if my team loses, I didn't waste precious WDW time to watch the game. And, if they win, I can look forward to watching the game at home when we get back.

Granted, I'm not a fan of football, but I still root for the Eagles. I might feel different if I were a big fan, but I doubt it because I am a huge racing fan (Dale Earnhardt Jr. :number1:), and I wouldn't miss any park time for the Superbowl of Racing (the Daytona 500). I'd DVR it, and watch when I get home.

Yikes-I guess there are more Disney fans than pro football fans. If it makes you feel beter, I usually go to WDW in October and I always pick the week of Alabama's Bye.

BTW-Isn't the Super Bowl being played only an hour away from WDW. You could always skip the park that day and drive down to tailgate.

WDW! I'm sorry, but I wouldn't even be watching the Super Bowl, except maybe some of the commercials, :D even if I was home. I would even miss an SEC Championship game or Auburn game if I had a chance to go to WDW! :) No contest!

The question is not, "Do you realize you're missing the Super Bowl?" but actually "Do you realize Disney is going to be PACKED?!" People are "renting" their homes for thousands of dollars in the area and I've been told that Disney Resorts are sold out or will be sold out because everyone going to the game is staying there for a week with their families. I don't think it will be as bad as going in the summer, though. Have fun!! :mickey:

Let me start off by stating that I am the worlds biggest kid.
I love WDW.
I hate football.
Afew years ago,my brothers wife was trying to talk him into visiting WDW in October. He said he could not go then because he might miss his precious NY Yankees in the play-offs.I don't remember if the yanks made it that year or not.I am a Mets fan,but I would not let my team challenge my WDW vacation.
Superbowl... this year-DW are taking my Mom and sister to Mohegan Sun Casino.Sis is a football fan but she said there will be enough TVs there to watch her game.

1. Go to Disney World and visit the mouse.
2. Stay at home and watch the Super Bowl.

OK Itchy!
Now from your previous posts on the forum I have deucted that you either:

a) have gone mentally insane (it's OK we all do sometimes)
b) were hit in the head by a flying fish (and not at the flying fish cafe)
c) are asking this question as a joke(and are currently sitting at your desk watching everyone else go crazy and hit themselves with fish while they attempt to type "What choice???!" as fast as they can!)

OK I'll be honest I have actually narrowed it down to either b or c... So, which is it???

My Ex is always throwing stuff at me and I thought it was thought provoking and worked.

I heard they are moving the Super Bowl to the little football field at the All Star Sports Resort. I guess it should be interesting with the X's and O's on the field.
