A wonderful surprise

When I visit Mom she always has one or two things for me to bring home that I either left at her house or that she's saved over the years.

The other day she presented me with a poster-size map of the Magic Kingdom that I bought on my first trip in 1979. What memories! And what fun it is to look at what was there 30 years ago and isn't there today.

It's a little tattered, but it's going to have a special place in my house.

Just wanted to share.

That is really cool! Definitely hold onto that. In fact, you should keep it in a special case or mylar to protect it from getting further tattered. That is a piece of history, and I doubt too many people still have something like that. Very special!

I still have my very first Mickey Mouse t-shirt that I got on my first trip to WDW at age 12. (I'm , ahem, 43 now!!) My DD who is 12 now wears it to bed as PJ's.
