If renting points, do I pay resort fees, ect???

Just so I'm well educated : we're consittering renting points from a DVC member, just so I know what to expect, should I be prepared to pay ANYTHING @ checkout ??? (anytaxes, resort fees, ect) or is that all covered by the membership dues that they pay? I do'nt mind either way, just trying to get a good idea of EXACTLY how much it will cost.

Normally, no... BUT, if you use the phone, there could be charges for that. If you request mousekeeping for a day that's not covered, yes, there could be charges for that.

There are a number of things that could produce extra charges, but for the most part, you check in, check out and don't need to produce any form of payment. You will probably be asked at check-in if you want charging privy's on any of the room keys. If you do, then whatever extras WILL be charged to thos room keys. If not, then if you do end up with some ancillary charges, you'll get a call in your room and be asked to settle up at the front desk at your earliest inconvenience.
