Question on buy 4/get 3

Love this site!! You guys are the best! My question on the buy 4 get 3 offer is I know we have to have 1 day park tickets for the deal. We are a family of four, but I have an ap and dh has 6 days left on a no-expiration ticket. So can I take those four 1 day tickets and use them to buy 2 7 day tickets for the kids for this visit? I am thinking it would be about $320 towards the 2 7 day tickets. Do you think that makes sense, or is there a better way to do this?

I believe the b4g3 deal has special rules. To get the deal, you have to buy 4 day passes for each person and they give you 3 more days free. I belive one of the girls from MJ confirmed this on another thread. If I see any other info, I'll post again.



No, to get the 3 free park days you need to purchase a 4 day base ticket.

That quote was talen out of context. To get 3 days free, you must buy 4. But you don't need to buy a 4-day ticket to get the promo. You absolutely CAN buy just a 1-day ticket when you book the Buy 4 Get 3 Free promo. You'll still get 7 room nights for the price of 4. But you are not required to buy a 4-day ticket; you'd need to buy the 4 day ticket to get 3 additional days for free, but you are permitted to buy the package with just a 1-day base pass, if you want.

To answer the other question the OP had ...
You CAN'T use all 4 1-day tickets towards 2 7-day tickets. Tickets can only be upgraded/added to on a one-for-one basis. So you can upgrade each 1-day ticket into a 7-day ticket, and you'll be left with two additional 1-day tickets that you can put in a drawer and use anytime in the future (unused tickets never expire).

Right, that's exactly what I meant. Sorry for the confusing post! I have already purchased the 4/3 with a 1 day pass.
I just wasn't sure if I could use all four 1 day passes towards the two 7 day's. So I'll upgrade 2 of the passes to a 7 day, and hang onto the other two for another day. Or maybe use one of the other towards renewing my AP?
