must see parades and/or holiday events

We are visiting 12/28-1/2, but are only getting a 3 day pass. We have ADR at Chef Mickey on Monday, 12/29 at 4:15 and at Crystal Palace on 12/31@ 2:20. We plan to spend all day at MK on 12/31, but will "hop" from park to park on Mon. and Tues. Any recommendations for what NOT to miss????? Also, any tips for viewing of the parades? It looks like MK will have parades on 12/31 @ 12:30, 3:30, 7:00, 8:30, 10:30 AND 11:50. How can that be???

ALL of Disney World is a not miss! But since you asked specifically for Holiday events, we were there earlier this month and very much enjoyed the Christmas parade that they put on during the MVMCP. It is my understanding that once the MVMCP was over, as it is now, that they move the parade to the day time's that you have listed - definitely don't miss it. We also really enjoyed the special Illuminations show, as they added additional Holiday fireworks to the end as a bonus. If you haven't yet seen the Block Party Bash in DHS, that is very cool, as well as we'd list Toy Story Mania as a do not miss, but you will have to get a fastpass for that first thing in the morning.
