Dec. 24, 1925 – Alan Alexander Milne’s “In Which We Are Introduced to Winnie-the- Pooh and Some Bees, and the Stories Begin” was published in the London Evening News.

In 1969, his group the Mike Curb Congregation would score a Top 10 hit on the Adult Contemporary Charts with a version of “It’s a Small World.” The song would be chosen by Disneyland as the ride’s official theme song and the group would be considered the official Disneyland and WDW singers.
