Three days before Christmas
40 years ago
Off to the hospital
My mother did go

Now it is 40 years later
And I sit here all sad
Depressed, upset
Even kind of mad:mad:

What’s up next?
What am I to do?
I wish I could ask someone

Staring at this screen
I feel sorta sicky
I know what to do

He turned 80 this year
And he looks great
40’s not to bad
It’s not really too late!

So I will relish this day
With family and friends
I’ve just decided
I’m not near the end:party:

40’s the beginning
It is the new 30
Now I am happy
I feel kinda flirty:hug:

So here is to me
And all that turned 40 this year
So let’s try to forget
That 50 is so near!:(
