Veiled maiden at the bakery in Norway?

Reading menus on another site, I came across veiled maiden listed as a choice with the Kringla Daily Chef's Selection sandwich & soup meal combo. Can someone tell me what exactly is veiled maiden? Have you tried it?

I've never had it, but I've seen a couple different descriptions:


Chunky applesauce layered with sweet toasted breadcrumbs and light whipped cream
Apple sauce with whipped cream and cinnamon


I don't know which is most accurate; perhaps someone else will come along with an answer.
