Castle Stage Show 2009

Is the Dream Along with Mickey show still going to be playing in January or are they changing it to something new?

Disney hasn't made any official announcements as to wheter it will be replaced with something new. It wouldn't surprise with the economy and all the other cutbacks if the everyday Castle Stage show doesn't also fall victim to these cutbacks. Live entertainment is a big expense with very little return on the investment.

I would assume that it's changing with the new year but I haven't heard of casting for it and they would have to be starting auditions and rehersals by now.

One option to cut back the show could be what TDL originally did - they present the show in three separate sets. They did one show as the opening act, then later in the day they did the middle act, and at the end of the day, they did the finale.

I heard from someone in the show that Dream Along was being extended in 2009.

I liked being able to walk through the castle before the shows. I have very little interest in them.
