may i share soething woderful that just happened to me??

So story starts that had a baby when I was 15 that her father and I decided before she was born to give her up for adoption. We had the baby, is was a private one. I got letters from time to time and pictures, knew she was doing well. I had called the agecny and gave them my contact info for when she turned 18. She ever came looking, the pictures sent showed me a very happy bright girl. well last month I joined facebook and one of the first poeple I met is her birth father and being mature now as apposed to 11th grade we can be friends and talk like adults. so the moday before turkey day my daughter who I know is named Allison friend requests me on facebook and ta da we were found. The baby i gave up for addoption found me on FB!! Isn't that crazy????
we have been emailing back and forth. I am amazed!! Just wanted to share. She is now 21 and marred with a small son. Life is good:o)

Congratulations! I am so happy for you both! Its amazing how these things work out. Also, I'd like to say "thank-you" for using adoption rather than abortion. As someone who cannot have children and will be adopting in the future, I appreciate your generosity in helping out some lucky family.

I am so happy for you, I work with a young girl who was adopted, and she has been searching for her birth parents for years, with no real leads!! I will have to tell her to try Facebook!!

Tracy! That is fabulous!!! Talk about holiday magic!!! My husband was adopted. We have "Non Identifying information" about his Mom who had him as a teen, but nothing else. He's posted on various sites, but no one has come looking:(. I love your story so much. Hugs of joy for you!
