We are going to be there 12/25-12/28 and are going to MK on 12/27. The hours that day are 8-11. I always forget how the rope drop works. We cannot get into any of the lands until 9, correct? We should be at the entrance of the land we want to go to first? I know we can go onto main street at 8. Thanks! I know it will be busy so want to be ready!

If the park opens at 8, then rope drop will be at 7:45 and the lands will officially open at 8 except Toontown, which opens an hour after the park. You will be able to walk up to the rope for the land you want to visit first.

Actually, the park hours are 8am-11pm, but if you are staying in a WDW Resort, there are Morning Extra Magic Hours every day from Dec 21-31!!
That means you can get in at 7:00AM and go to Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. At 8am, the rest of the park will open as well.

LOL, well, either way....on non-EMH mornings, rope drop is 15 minutes prior to the park opening. On days when there is EMH, it's 15 minutes before the EMH times.

How early to get there to get around to the Castle for breakfast, will they be filming at park opening or after the crowds come in ? Trying to figure out how early to get there for Cindy's Royal Table ADR
for breakfast. after performances are done on Friday does Saturday still get crowded- unable to walk up Main Street ????:mickey:
