Any advice for college student for study abroad?

Hi All!

My DD is a college Sophomore and in January she will go to Europe for a study abroad semester. She will study 5 weeks each in Dublin, Rome & Paris. Anyone with experience in this want to share some advice?! We are looking at travel websites and such but first hand info would be wonderful! Thanks in advance for your help!!:thumbsup:

I did both a pre-freshman year abroad program and my junior year abroad (I was a language major). She's going through her college, no?

Things were quite different back then... no cell phones, no Twitter, no blogs, no Facebook. You'll be able to keep in touch easily.

I can tell you that it was one of the best and most enriching times of my life. Considering the short time frame that she'll be in each country, she should make a list of "must do's" in each city/country. If it were me, the list for Paris would definitely include DLP. :mickey:
