Holiday Garland [Archive] - INTERCOT Boards

I read that they remove the holiday garland at the Magic Kingdom to tape the ABC Christmas Parade on DEC6. I was hoping that someone could verify this because we are going to MK this day and were really hoping to see the Holiday Garland!!

We just got home from MK and there was a lot of garland down Mainstreet.:thumbsup:

Not sure about this year, but last year when we were there the garland was up the first part of our trip, but on taping day, the garland had come down.

They take the garland down for the taping so that it does not interfere with the camera shots for TV.
It goes right back up after the weekend taping.

They also move the christmas tree closer to the castle for the taping then put it back at the begining of main street.
