My Disney Girl Doll Princess Tea Party

My DD wanted an American Girl Doll for Christmas, then I remembered that they had the My Disney Girl Doll. I started researching and found out about the tea party they have where they give you your doll and have a tea party. Has anyone done this? I know it's a little pricey, I think I read it's $250 is that still the cost? And what did your girls think?

I seem to recall reading a trip report somewhere along the way where someone had done this but can't seem to find it right now. I know it was a while ago Hopefully, someone who has done it will be along soon with more comments!
