That's great. Their Philly flights in March are outrageous.

It's amazing that $89 one way appeals to me. Do you remember when we could fly from Providence for $39 to $49 each way?!?!

That is a great deal! I have my return flight booked but am waiting to book my arrival flight. I got the return for $69 which was great but the going down flight is still at $129 - $180 depending on when I left during the day. So hoping I get a ding soon for a cheap flight :D

You all won't believe this but I just rebooked our flight down to Orlando on Thanksgiving day for $59 per person!!! It was originally $159 per person when I booked back in July. I now have $400 credit to use by next July : )

I NEVER thought I would get a cheap 1 way flight on Thanksgiving day!!!

I think everyone knows how wild airfares have been in the last few months....and airfares can change daily.....here is an example of what happened yesterday and today.....we needed to get a return flight to Philly, yesterday it was $109 for the flight we wanted, today it is back to $59 like it was last week when we looked at it. 109 to 59 overnight......and that is on SW!! I think it's crazy how fares fluctuate every day like they do!!

Another example of fluctuation.....I have a car booked, but I'm not sure it's the best price. I looked on Alamo this morning and got a minivan for 237. I wanted to see about just getting a full size car this afternoon instead of the van -- well, the full size is more than the van AND the van is now 278!! That is just a matter of three hours!!

YIPPEE,
Today I rebooked the departure leg of our trip for $59 a person and got a $222 credit.
The Magic has already begun.
Our return flight I booked at $99 and it has not gone below that. I booked our tickets the first day they were released back in the summer for our Dec 3-10 trip. This is also the first time that the price on either leg has fallen below my booking fare.
SW ROCKS. It was so easy to do and took all of about 2 minutes.

I need to move. The "cheapest" I can find on SW right now is about $550 r/t. And that's only from Texas. I'm turning a bit green over here from all the envy!

OWWW! That is steep. We live in Birmingham and now my price for 4 round trips non stop 90 minutes flight tickets is $700 for all 4.

FYI-Just a note to urge anyone who sees a doable plane fare to jump on it.
I originally booked our SW flights for $129 departure and $90 return. 3 days ago I rebooked the departure leg for $59 a ticket and got a $222 credit. The return leg was unchanged.
Just now I checked fares and the $59 fare had gone up to $144 and the $90 return had risen to $120.
WOW! I am so glad I just casually checked fares a few days ago. My credit will pay for DH and I a little weekend getaway this summer.

I never luck out like that with SW. SW is pretty much the only airline that flies out of my small but very local airport and 99% of all flights to/from MCO are always sold out so they have no incentive to lower prices....but..I would still rather pay a little more and be 20 mins from home. Makes a huge difference when you have a 7am flight and have to get up early
