Wii Play or Deca Sports?

I got DH a Wii for Father's Day, and we only have a couple games for it.

I'm trying to decide on a game (or two) to get for Christmas. DH would like one with curling, mostly because we enjoy watching it (yes, we're weird). Deca Sports has curling, but I've read some bad reviews of the games included.

Does anyone have any experience with Deca Sports, or with Wii Play? Can you give me any review on who fun/easy these games are?

I have both. I'd avoid both. Neither one plays nearly as well as the Wii Sports game that comes with the system and ends up being a disappointment because of that.

I agree with Ian. The Wii Sports is the best one.

BTW: I'm going to pick up the Namco Active Life Outdoor Challenge for me and DH for Xmas. I've heard it's pretty good - you might want to look into it...

Well I guess i will disagree -- ds 16 and I enjoy Wii Play -- Billiards is fun and the Tank game. Not great games but enjoyable -- the fact that it comes with the extra controller helps in the value dept.

Have to concur here. Deca Sports is terrible. Sold it back to GameStop for next to nothing, but we never played it anyway.
