My husband is considering a job in the area. I was trying to look up some information on schools/housing, etc.

Wasn't having much luck so I thought if anyone knows the area I could ask a few questions.

Thanks:mickey:

I lived there when I was very young but I can tell you there is a sub shop called Wilts that had the best meatball subs I've ever had!
It was just outside the Aberdeen Proving grounds if I remember correctly!

We'll most likely be moving to the Aberdeen area in about two years and we've been looking in the area too. I'd love to hear what others can tell me.

Once you get beyond the I-95 corridor, it's gets pretty rural and it is horse country up there. From my limited information, Bel Air, in Harford County, has excellent schools, but homes are pricey. We probably won't be moving there, but moving to a less expensive area to live in Cecil County and sending DS (and any other future children) to private school.

Middle River is much closer to Baltimore city and has some affordable homes on or close to the water. Bengie's Drive-in is near there, in Baltimore.
