We had Matthew as our tour guide. If anyone has a chance to do it ,please do not miss this.....:thumbsup: He was hilarious. We had lunch at The Columbia Harbour House, of course thats always a great place to eat. I would do that tour again the next time i go down but i will want Matthew to do it again...

I'm happy to hear you had a great time! My DW and I want to do it as well. We have a seven year old daughter. Do you think it is something that would hold her attention?

Unfortunately you have to be at least 16 to take the tour.

you have to be 16 yo. thats because the magic would be spoiled for the younger ones. They even give you a headset to wear throughout the tour so that little ears cant hear the tour guid talking while walking around in the park...very cool. Oh yea....he also lets you go in a secret room to go on Haunted Mansion with the group. you go ahead of everybody waiting in line. We got on the Jungle Cruise alsoooo.....

You really dont need anyone with you. The people in the group are very nice.Theres about 20 people in a group. We had some Phillies fans in our group and they lived in our area so we talked to them alot. ;)

My DH and myself are finally doing this tour in March. I had to wait until my kids were older and could be by themselves during the time we are on the tour. I am soo excited to do this!!!

Sounds like alot of fun! We have 2 kids though, so this would not be the tour for us. DH and I have talked about going down later in 09 for the F&W Fest (just the two of us), and this would be something we would very likely do. Thanks for the great review!

Glad you enjoyed it.

When we did it several years ago we were surprised at how fast the time went. When we originally booked it we were a little nervous about the 5 hour time frame for the tour.

Yes, I was on the tour with disneychick62 on tuesday and it was amazing! Definately worth $60. I don't think I would take the tour unless Matthew was our guide again...he really made the tour special. He was funny, happy, answered any and all questions, he had me smiling and laughing the entire time. It sounds like 5 hours is long and tiring, but it actually goes by really quick. I was a little tired when it was over so I went back to POFQ and layed down for a while before our dinner ressie.

I would recommend this tour to anyone over the age of 16!! :mickey:

Matthew flat out rocks.
I've posted a couple of times about what a fabulous tour we had with him. He really is
a great ambassador for WDW. I wrote a letter of thanks and commendation for him after I returned home because he was so knowledgeable and SO forthcoming. We laughed, we cried, and thanks to the KTTK our daughter's decision to return to Orlando as a cast member was set in stone. :mickey:

Oh yea....he also lets you go in a secret room to go on Haunted Mansion with the group. you go ahead of everybody waiting in line.

It's not a secret room. You go through the cast entrance and into one of the stretching rooms.

we did keys to the kingdom back in 2006 and we had matthew. he is awesome. we got his business card afterwards so we could recommend him to other people we knew were going to do the tour. i saw some of the other tours that were on the same day as us and they didn't look like they were having as much fun as we were. matthew had a lot of great facts about the history of disney and he seemed so excited about everything it made us even more excited. matthew is the best!
