We are thinking about going to the P&PP during our '09 trip. My niece who is 16 is wanting to dress up as Jasmine if we go. Will she be able to or is she too old?

anyone and everyone may dress up (and many people do!)

Indeed, many people do dress up! I've seen many swashbuckling pirates and beautiful princesses of all ages, from toddlers to adults! :mickey:

Adults are able to dress up for special events (mnsshp, P&P, and sww). They just can't wear costumes to the parks during regular days.

By all means, she can and should dress up. You should too, if you are going to the event. It is NOT just a little kids event. I had great fun with my DS (10) - we dressed as pirates - how easy/fun is that?! ARRRRGGGGHHH:mickey:

If I.. at 40 years old can wear a Mrs Incredible costume to the MNSSHP to make my family happy ...they by all means a teen can wear a princess/pirate costume!:mickey:

...and I think it's wonderful that your niece still honors the playful side of herself and WANTS to dress up and participate!

I think it would be great for them to dress up.
I have seen adults dressed up at the PPP. I
have not seen the dates for 2009 out yet. Does
anyone know if they are out or when they will
be out? We are going in March and would like to
attend. We have been before and it is a great
party. :D

Yeah.....I wouldn't make any plans just yet until they officially announce whether they will or will not hold them. As of right now, all the parties from the first part of the year are canceled. There have been no castings for parades and shows, no approvals, no preferences. Nothing. So I'd wait.

I did notice that during our planned April trip MK was scheduled to close at 7 pm one night for the P&P party, and now I've noticed it has a 9 pm closing time.

It doesn't mean they won't change it again, but it doesn't look to good for the P&P parties.

She can still go. Anyone can go, I have to say I'm a teen and I would dress up if I went to that.
