Dining Plan-How to keep track?

Hello:mickey: We will be heading down to WDW on November 9th:cloud9:, and using the dining plan for the first time. I was wondering how will we keep track of what is left on our plan? Thanks.

A balance of credits should be printed on the bottom of each receipt when you use your credits toward a meal.

You can also check with Guest Services at your hotel at any time during your stay to receive a current print out of your Disney Dining Plan credit balance.

One thing to note is that the print out on the receipts you'll get shows the total number of credits you have left. It doesn't break it down at all, so if you need to keep track of who has used what individually, you'll have to do that on your own. We found that this really only mattered with snacks because our family ate all of our meals together, so we were always using one credit each for our counter service and table service meals. Snacks, on the other hand, were a little more confusing. We made a little spreadsheet that we kept in the room, and anytime one of us used a snack credit, we put an "x" by our name. That way, we just had to count up the x's to know how many snacks each person had used, and how many each person had left. But, if you aren't worried about keeping track of the credits for each person, you can just look at your receipts. Hope this helps a bit! :mickey:

Just a friendly reminder to double check your meal/snack totals on your receipt after each purchase. We have used the DP on 2 different trips and on each trip a cast member took off too many credits.(Once at a TS and once at a CS.) It wasn't too big of a deal to get it fixed, just needed to get it brought to their attention. However, If I didn't notice it until later it may have been more of an issue.
