Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone knows when the 2009 dates are going to be released. I am contemplating a quick birthday trip for my daughter in Feb., but I don't want to book anything until I know the exact dates. Thanks in advance for your help!

If there are going to be any, and they get released the same time as last year, it should be real soon now. Last year they were announced right after Halloween.

Thanks for the info. On the website, it said to come back for the 2009 dates. Do you think there is a possibility there won't be any parties this year? I've been reading other posts where they said the parties were not well attended. Just a thought.

I know there will be definitely 1 party in 2009. There is going to be 1 in March, which goes along with the new Marathon. I really hope there will be more, though. I have been to 4 P&P, and love them! I have my fingers crossed for May parties again.

I'm hoping for a Feb. party. Would like to plan a quick weekend trip for my DD's 5th birthday!! But I don't want to book anything until I know for sure the party dates.

If you go, being infront of the castle for the fireworks is a must. The castle looks like it gets fired upon by Captain Hook. The fireworks rates up there with some of the best they have done.
If they have some next year, I plan on going again for the 5th time.

:thumbsup: Agree with you Goofygirl!! Best fireworks EVER!!!! I really enjoy that parade too! Hubby and I have just us trip planned early Feb. Keeping our fingers crossed for our chance to be a :princess: and a :pirate: and collect our loot!!!! :fingers:

Disney released the party dates today. See below;]

15 nights between February 20 and June 3, 2009!

DATES:

February 20, 27
March 8, 12, 20, 27
April 1, 22
May 1, 8, 15, 20, 25, 30
June 3

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 7!

Advance Price: Adult $43.95
Advance Price: Child $37.95

Day of Event: Adult $47.95
Day of Event: Child $41.95

Passholder and DVC discounts have not yet been released.

Hopefully, they make the parties better this year. Last year they were really lacking in both characters and fun.

I must agree with you, Jessica. The parade is nice, but the music is just blah....I really don't think we will do another one. Twice was enough. I can purchase my own beads and candy, and just do an EMH one night instead of paying all that money.

ARGH!! I'm so bummed!! I won't be getting down there until April 3rd. I was hoping there would be more in April but I know that is when they do the grad nights. I was going to try to swing going down on the 2nd, but I absolutely can't make the 1st with my class schedule.

We have never been to any of the parties and we really wanted to go, but there are no parties for the time we are there. There is one the day before we get there and one two days after we leave and there are TWO the week after we leave! WHY, WHY, WHY?

As of this morning (Saturday, Nov. 8), tickets are still not available (either on the Disney website or at 407-WDISNEY). Does anyone have any updates as to when tickets will become available? Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing. We were not originally going to be able to attend a party, but we changed our dates a little and now I can't get tickets. The CM's I spoke to said they have no idea when the tickets will be avaliable.

CaptainJessica, any ideas on what is going on?
