Downtown Disney or Magic Kingdom

My boss just gave me Friday off so we can start our vacation a day early. We are now leaving Friday morning and can be in the parks by 2pm for Halloween. We have never been for Halloween and we are trying to decide what to do. I understand you can trick or treat at Downtown Disney. Or do we head to MK and watch the fireworks and see the decorations. We are AP holders so the park tickets are not an issue. Also if something else is going on in the other parks please let me know.

If you do not have a ticket to MNSSHP on Halloween night you will have to leave MK at 7pm. I know that the MNSSHP tickets are sold out for that night. You probably should head to DTD. Have fun though, should be spooktacular!!

I would do Downtown Disney, as stated you will have to leave MK by 7

I would do both, MK until 7 and then head over to Downtown Disney.

I would just go with DTD. You will have to leave MK by 7pm, and DTD is more relaxing...especially being that it is your first day...so you won't wear yourselves out too much. Have a great trip!

I'd head to MK until they booted me out at 7p then go over to DTD. If you wanted to see the MK fireworks, you'd have to do that from one of the monorail resorts.

why waste a ticket for only 5 hours at MK if you can only get there by 2pm. Save it and go to DD and shop, have a nice dinner at a resort, maybe minigolf?

Since yo have an AP & tickets arnt an issue I would also go to MK until they made me leave & then go to DTD. That way you get the best of both ! Have fun !!:mickey:

I would do both, MK until 7 and then head over to Downtown Disney.

As an AP holder this makes the most sense, but keep in mind that MK will be busy, too

I too would do both since the ticket isn't an issue. Enjoy, no matter what you decide.
