View Full Version : My son is officially a sailor and made it in the Honor Guard!!!

I just got a call from my DS18. He passed his final test at boot camp last night. He also told me that he's been accepted into the Honor Guard. So, he's got another 9 weeks of Boot Camp in Washington, DC. I'm so excited for him.

The honor guard is so cool to watch All the pomp and circumstance is just amazing.

Yes, I promise it gets better. We're in Chicago now. Boy, it is cold, but I'm excited to finally get to see him tomorrow. I'll pass on everyone's messages to him.
