ID's for EMH

I'm just wandering ~ do you have to take your hotel ID out of the lanyard or do they just check it around your neck? Do I need to make sure the holder is clear for front and back views? Any help would be appreciated.

I think they just need to be able to read it well enough to be sure that you're a current Disney Property guest.

I will be keeping my resort key and fastpasses in the little pouch that my lanyard has connected to it. So when I go up to any ride I'll just unzip and take it out really quick...which is much better than searching in my backpack for it. I would assume to just make sure the front is clear so they can see what it looks like and what it says on the front.
