I would like some opinions on breakfast. I need to make a reservation for my parents.

I'll put a few ideas out there that are in different parts of WDW, and are different types of experiences:

Boma (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/dining/menus/resorts/bomabreakfast.asp) — great breakfast buffet at Animal Kingdom Lodge
Spoodles (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/dining/menus/resorts/spoodles_breakfast.asp) — located at the Boardwalk resort. Nice menu and pretty location
Olivia's (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/dining/menus/resorts/olivias_breakfast.asp) — quiet-ish spot at Old Key West. Some interesting things on the menu
Boatwright's (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/dining/menus/resorts/boatwrights_breakfast.asp) — not sure if they still have the buffet available at breakfast, but again, it's quiet and "unsung." Located at Port Orleans Riverside
Kona Cafe (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/dining/menus/resorts/konabreakfast.asp) — a favorite of many; located at the Poly. After one highly-sugared encounter with the famed (and beloved) Tonga Toast, I'm not inclined to go back.

I'm sure others will be along with their recommendations!

Rainforest Cafe was good but way to expensive.
Over $100 for 4 adults , DD13 & DS 10 for Breakfast. $3 for each soft drink or coffee and $3 per refill !!! Definitely not worth the price. I'd suggest Chef Mickey's Breakfast Buffet. :mickey:

When I eat breakfast at WDW, it's usually in a park or at a hotel food court, but two I really enjoy are Boma, Chef Mickey's and Kona Cafe.

I like 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian. It is a character breakfast so I don't know how your parents feel about that,.

Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is my all time favorite, and a must-do every trip! The food is great, the coffee if great, and the atmosphere of the Poly is amazing. I love being able to take the monorail right over to MK afterwards. For a buffet, we really enjoy Chef Mickey's...there are soooo many selections to choose from, and probably the biggest buffet I've ever been to!

Kona is one of the best in MHO, if you want a nice sit down breakfast...but for the value and price, we love to hit the Pop Food Court for breakfast. We usually get plenty of food and for the two of us it runs $16 to $18.

Boatwrights at POR has to be the best breakfast of ANY Disney eatery...!!!! PERIOD.

....side note....I don't think the buffet has been offered for several years now......just in case you want to try it....:mickey:

We always like Mediterranean Fresh in the Dolphin.
The breakfast has some buffet items but there are various stations where your food is cooked to order. Items coming off the griddle are so much better when cooked to order rather than sitting in a chafing dish.
The price is reasonable too.
We did this a few times in September.

If you are looking for a character breakfast, I have to say Cape May is our absolute favorite. We actually just ate there last week! First, the food is great! I travelled with a 3 year old, 2 year old, 1.5 year old and a 10 month and everyone of them ate a lot. Second, the charater interactions there (in our experience) have far outshined character interaction we've had at any other character meal. Finally, we love that when we are done eating, we can stroll into EPCOT or take the boat to Hollywood Studios (the boat also goes to EPCOT).

My very favorite breakfasts are always the buffets without the characters. (Less hectic)

1. Fresh at The Dolphin
2. Yacht Club Galley at The Yacht Club
3. Garden Grove at The Swan
