Has anything come out yet on if they will be putting the icicle lights on the castle again this year?

I was there the last wkend in Sept., and it looked as though they had already started putting them up. I'm so happy about that, since we're going back in Dec. and it is simply breath-taking! :cloud9:

They are and I've also heard they're making them even more spectacular and elaborate this year.

I really hope so. I have never been at Christmas but we are going to try to be there in 2010...(yes, I realize this is 2 years away, what can I say...I'm an over planner) Anyway, I saw what they did last year on YouTube.

We were just there the end of Sept and it looked like most of the lights on the front & side of the castle were already up. I wish I could have seen it lit up like that!

A friend of ours is interning as an illustrator there right now and told his mother a couple of weeks ago that they have already started putting the lights on the castle. When is the first time they turn the lights on?

:faint: I've been telling my DH about this (he hasn't seen it yet...), and then I read this! I told him I don't know if I can take it being more spectacular--I pretty much was frozen in my tracks and couldn't breathe on Mainstreet when I caught a glimpse last year! He asked if my insurance was up to date! ;)

I am pretty sure it is the first night of MVMCP. I could be wrong.

The lights were almost all up on the bottom half of the castle as of last week.

As of yesterday they look to be pretty much complete. You can see them draped all the way up.
