1) The Living Statue was the white-garbed statue at Epcot France & Italy.
2) WDW did not renew the contract.
3) We were wondering The Venetian in Vegas, yesterday.
4) Low and behold, there he was!
5) I asked later, and he was indeed the performer from Disney.
6) Still, very cool.

NOTE: Just one question - how do they stop their nose from itching?

I just loved the living statues and was sorry not to see them on our last trip. I wish they would bring them back. About the itchy nose...I wondered that myself! :mickey:

We really miss him. He was unbelievable. Wish they'd get him back.

Wow, he was the same guy? That's really cool that you would see him and have the chance to ask. WDW should have kept him. Our loss is The Venetian's gain.

1) You cannot talk to him on his podium.
2) However, the wife caught him and handler going to coffee break.

That is sad to learn he isn't at Disney anymore I really did like to watch him in Epcot.

My girlfriend and I were @ the Venetian a few years back (May 2004) and we were able to see several living statues. They were AMAZING -- beautiful!! It was quite fun watching people go up to the 'statues' to see if they had really seen them move or not....

It was always funny seeing peoples responses to the statues. It's a shame they lose good acts like that. We've seen similar acts on the streets of NY and Boston.
