Free Dining - Ugh!

Just got an offer for free dining in the mail. Looks like Disney is doing it for $63 a day 9/28-10/11; 11/9-11/22; 12/14-12/20. this also includes a base ticket. 4 nights/5 days. (Value resorts - other resorts are more based on availability)

All well and good ,but we rented DVC points from a friend so we can't do the free dining.

Was this the same offer you had to book with the Disney Credit Card to get the free dining or is it for anyone?

We got the free dining in September and loved it, however, we did not have to use the Disney card to get it.

If this is any consolation - from what I understand of that offer, the applicable locations were very limited, so there may not have been any rooms offered for where you wanted to stay.
