Sept. 30, 1928 – A second recording session for “Steamboat Willie” took place in N.Y. with conductor Carl Edouarde and a 15-piece band.
Sept. 30, 1933 – Disney’s Mickey Mouse cartoon “The Steeple Chase” was released.
Sept. 30, 1939 – Actor Len Carious, who played Walt Disney in the 1995 TV movie “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes: The Annette Funicello Story,” was born in Canada.
