$500 gift card?

In reading some other posts, people have mentioned getting a $500 gift card as an incentive. Has that been offered to new DVC owners, or just those adding on? I just bought last week, and I got the $8 per point, bonus points, but I didn't get promise of a $500 gift card. :cry:

Last I knew it was a temporary incentive..we got so many dollars off a point and $500 gift card...that was back in April. And we bought at SSR...I know our ad we signed thru said if you bought at SSR. So I really dont know if it was just during the SSR deal or what..But I do know that it is just certain sales/incentives at the time, not an all the time thing, sorry :(

We just bought in July at AKL. We got $8 off per point, the $500 gift card and a free week at SSR. Our salesperson did say they were temporary incentives and weren't how long they would be offered.

We bought 300 points at SSR in July and received $10 off per point, a December use year, and the $500 gift card.

We bought from the Doorway to Dreams store in Shaumburg, IL so don't know if that makes a difference.

Prior to offering BLT, it was $500 card for over 100 points, $1000 for over 200 points. $8 pp off at AKLV, and a match on whatever you bought at SSR good for one year. Also no dues for 2008 and if you were an existing member, no closing costs.

It was tough to pass that up...

I doubt very much there will be much offered on those terms for BLT. It seems to be doing brisk sales as is, so no new incentives until it starts to slow down. It looks like it's going to be one of the biggest properties, so it might be a while...
