Wishes and Illuminations at same time

Has anyone else experienced this. On 9/18 we walked out of Germany in EPCOT, walked right up to the rail on the left side of the ferry landing to watch Illuminations. As we looked across the lake we could also see Wishes at the same time. I have never heard of this. I thought they run at different times. It was awesome. :mickey:

It's quite common, actually.

Or during the winter, we'll do Fantasmic, Illuminations and Holiday Wishes all at the same time.

That is so neat! I read once that someone staying at the BC was able to see Illuminations, Fantasmic and Wishes at the same time from their balcony. Talk about getting a good view!!

It's cool...I guess I've never paid too much attention but I was able to hear Fantasmic while watching Illuminations.

There was a private fireworks display on the river at DTD that night, too. The ferry boats from POR-POFQ to DTD were shut down from 9-10pm.
