for school: how many pairs of shoes do you own?

I have to do a survey of 20 random people (10 male, 10 female). How many pairs of shoes do you own? Your name is not included in anything- everything is kept private. Please indicate if you are male or female too.

Well I am a female first of all....secondly my mother calls me Amelda Marcosse lol...I own 62 pairs of shoes.... That was the last time I counted...it was 63 but I had to throw a pair out :-(

Male. I have perhaps 4 pairs of shoes (general sneakers, dress shoes, boots, and running shoes). OTOH, I buy about 8 pairs of shoes per year, maybe more - running shoes are only good for about 2 months.

I am female and have 32 prs of shoes - 10 flip-flops, 5 Crocs, 1 pr of sneakers, and the rest are sandals, dress shoes, and boots. Sad thing is, I only wear the flip-flops and Crocs.

I own 7 pairs: flipflops, tevas, sneakers, winter crocs, black "wedding" sandals, brown sandals, black boots. That's it! I buy one pair of a type of shoe, wear it until I have to throw them away and then buy a replacement.

Well - I guess I am really into shoes because I have 84 pairs of shoes if you count everything - sandals, flip flops, and old ones I don't wear but won't throw away. Sounds a little excessive....... - My husband has 34 - he never gets rid of any either. :mickey:

Female - 14 pairs. Two pairs are for work only, one pair is my backup work pair that sit in my car waiting in case I need to change during the work day, one pair is only for working out in the yard, two pairs are "dressy" (so I rarely wear them!), and one pair of sandals sit in my closet because they are uncomfortable to walk in but are too cute to throw away. The other seven pairs are rotated fairly evenly. :walk:

Female, my shoes are all over the place so I can't give an exact count but I'm pretty sure the number is around 30. Lots of flip flops and dress shoes, 3 pairs of sneaks, loafers, boots.

That's about as bad as me, I probably have about as much. But I only actually wear about 10-15 pairs, including sandals, boots, running shoes, etc. Since having a baby, those are probably the only ones that fit me now. I'm a pack rat and I never throw anything out, so I really need to go through my closet and ditch a good 60-70 pairs.

Female, I have about 40 pairs but don't wear them all. That includes all seasons. Mostly wear the same pair of flip flops all the time except for dress and then usually stick to the same pair of dress shoes. I buy them to match an outfit and then end up not wearing them. :)

DH has about 10 pairs and only wears about 4, including his combat boots.

Okay, school was a long time ago, but, I had two pair. One Interview pair, and one pair of running shoes. I think I had the same two pair for the entire time I was in college.
