I understand that tipping is not included with the Dining Plan anymore, so I have a couple of questions.

What size of a party results in the automatic tip being applied?

How much is this automatic tip, and does this percentage differ between full service restaurants, family style serving and/or buffet?

Can this tip be applied to your room key/account to pay at the end of the week?

Gratuity is added to parties of 6 or more and is 18%.

You can add all tips to your room card which will be added to your charge card at the end of your stay.

At the end of your meal, your waiter will bring you some slips. Besides the total, it will have on it--what 18% is and what 20% is, and then you can choose to add what you want for the gratuity. If using the DDP, then they will bring you a final slip which will only have the gratuity, and anything you ordered that is not included on the DDP.

Hope that helps!

:ditto::ditto::ditto:

We just came back and used the DDP. We loved it. We had a party of six and they added the gratuity onto all our checks. The waiters and waitresses were all very helpful on how to use the plan.

We figured up all the food that we had eaten and with the six of us...we ate a grand total of $1100 worth of food...for FREE! Amazing.

We were a little worried that since the gratuity was going to be added that the service might not be as good...boy, were we wrong. Great service everywhere we went.

Good luck to you! Hope you have happy eating!

The percentage does not vary from a buffet or family style than from the regular meals that you order ala carte. The percentage is also the same if it's the Fantasmic! or Candlelight Processional dinner packages.
