With all of the hurricanes I just can't help myself....
Top Ten Reasons Hurricane Season Is Like Christmas
Number Ten:
Decorating the house (with plywood).
Number Nine:
Dragging out boxes that haven't been used since last season.
Number Eight:
Last minute shopping in crowded stores.
Number Seven:
Regular TV shows pre-empted for 'Specials'.
Number Six:
Family coming to stay with you.
Number Five:
Family and friends from out of state calling you.
Number Four:
Buying food you don't normally buy . . . and in
large quantities.
Number Three:
Days off from work.
Number Two:
Candles.
And the Number One reason Hurricane Season
is like Christmas:
At some point you're probably going to have a
tree in your house!

As a hurricane survivor.....:laughing::silly::funny::funny:
If this is your own list, way to go! If you 'borrowed' it from someone, you gotta tell us who, that was so wrong that I laughed out loud, repeatedly!

Too funny! At least you can keep a sense of humor about it. We know nothing about hurricanes here. Now tornados, wind shears and blizzards we Michiganders can understand.

I LOVED IT!
I'M A WEATHER CHANNEL JUNKIE.
However, my #1 reason for a watching the weather channel in a hurricane is of course....
JIM CANTORE!!!
The man is wild in a weather situation.
I love it!
On a more serious note, my prayers are with the fine people of Texas tonight. May they be safe, secure and be able to come home to their homes.

I recieved this same email from two different people today! It's good to be able to laugh a little in such a bad situation. Stay safe everyone!

Angel...I'm glad you posted that. I saw it somewhere else and was laughing, while at the same time thinking that I'm so glad I don't live in an area where hurricanes are common!
On the other hand, I am praying for the people of Texas and Louisiana. It's going to be a rough night tonight down there. Stay safe y'all!
(p.s. Angel am I using y'all correctly? I know you told me I that I was supposed to use it. ;) )

That's a funny one but hopefully there won't be any trees in anyone's house tonight. I hope everyone in the path of Ike stays safe.
