? about rope drop & early breakfast ressies

We have breakfast ressies at the Crystal Palace at MK (no emh in the a.m.) for 8am. I realize that we won't be able to wander freely around the park until the official opening, but when we are done with our breakfast, are we escorted BACK to the main entrance, or do we just stay put at the Crystal Palace area until the official opening? We were sort of hoping to get a small head start over to Splash Mountain before it got too crowded. Thanks!!

We've done this before and plan to do it again next May! :mickey:
As I remember it we were allowed to stay in the restauraunt area - but not to proceed into any of the lands. There was no escort back to the entrance.
I love pre-opening breakfast in MK!

You can stay around the Main Street area. The areas you can't go into are all roped off (which is all the various lands and the castle, but you can wait near the entrance to Frontierland so that when the rope does drop you can hop on over.

I have 8:05 reservations for Crystal Palace. I am excited about being able to actually get my picture made in front of the Partners statue without anyone else in the picture. :thumbsup:

technically Crystal Palace is on mainstreet...sorta, so you can walk wherever, just not to any of the lands

We did this once.

We waited at the rope for the Toon
Town area, and got pics with a bunch of characters first thing that day. It was nice because we were fresh and tidy before the heat came for the day, and it made for some awesome pics since we were basically the only ones in there. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy all posed together with us as a group, kidded around with us, and really took their time. It was great!

We've also done this in AK at Tusker House. When you come out, the rope is right there. We were on the first safari vehicle for the day.

We did this last year and loved already being in the park (didn't care to much for CP breakfast) thought the characters were to rushed versus other character breakfasts. Anyway, from what I could remember the lands were roped off and you pretty much had to stay in front of the castle and the main street area until the ropes dropped. It was the same way at AK for the Donald's Breakfast.
