Was this a conscious thing or was the mouse whispering in your ear when you made your purchases?

Very cool pics, but Walmart? The ones at DW weren't sewn by hand by the little fingers of the CInderella mice...? The Illusion is shattered

The biggest thrill I ever got at Disney was when I went to the marketplace and all the manequinns were wearing the shoes I designed...and they are from Payless!!!!!! :mickey::mickey:

So if you think about it Disney, like any other company, needs to save money. Think about the tree house quilt, it probably has to be replaced quite often due to the weather.

It was really a complete shock when I noticed them.

First I went on the Treehouse. Normally I don't bother, but I was trying to kill time before lunch (I had skipped breakfast that morning and was starving and was waiting for it to be 11am). The park was dead (last week), so I had already gone on all the major rides that morning. So I went on the Treehouse, got to that bedroom, and gasped. I took several photos as proof.

Then, after lunch, I went on Peter Pan. Normally in that first scene I only pay attention to the right side, where Peter's shadow goes by, and where the Wendy, Michael, and John are sitting, but this time, for whatever reason, I looked down and to the left, and nearly screamed when I saw the quilt I used in college. Luckily there were no lines so I was able to hop right back on just so I could take the photo.

And I was happy I had a photo of my old college dorm room that showed the quilt, cause I think I got rid of it after I graduated.

I know it's shocking because you think that the Disney fairies make all the products for them at the parks, but alas...it's not true.

I have friends that work at Home Depot in Kissimmee and WDW is in every other week and when the come in, they clean out the entire shelf of what they have instock! So, I know...it's shocking! You too could have the same carpeting on the floor of the new Contemporary Tower! :D

LOL, there is a Tide commercial showing a white shirt with red and blue braided straps getting washed. DD has the same shirt... I got it on the $.97 clearance rack at Old Navy after the 4th of July a year or two ago!
